Private Acts: Flashcards For Learning
by Stephanie Mitelman, M.A., CSE, AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator
These cards were designed to teach students with social impairments, particularly those with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, or other special needs, which behaviors can be done in public, and which need to only be done in private.
With the use of cartoon characters, the cards illustrate what are expected and individuals with unexpected behaviors depending on the special needs context of whether or not others can see you.
Each card is an individual message or act so discussion can be done in between.
The cards are laminated for repeated use.
They can be used as a teaching tool for individuals or small groups, or as personal reference.
Contents Include:
- SET OF 12 (4 X 6) LAMINATED CARDS WITH IMAGES
SUGGESTED GRADE LEVEL: Individuals with special needs
