This set of flash cards includes 35 printed and laminated cards with images on the front and a detailed description of the emotion being expressed through the body and facial language on the back.
The emotions include:
- 9 Face + Body Messages
- 9 Universal Body Language
- 5 Different Kinds of Smile
- 3 Partner Scenarios
These cards were designed to teach students with social impairments, particularly those with Autism,
Asperger’s Syndrome, or other special needs, to look at body language and facial expressions of someone else to get information about a person’s interest or feelings.
This information gives students an edge in understanding what is communicated in an interactions.
They also help individuals be more aware of their own messages, and how their body and facial expressions may be communicating information to others.
