This video will help students start to discuss the decisions involved in having sex for the first time, including birth control, condoms, abuse, consent, sexually transmitted infections (STIs, previously known as STDs), and more.

The interviews are well done, and seeing the emotions of the speakers really helps in a classroom setting…reading them just doesn’t compare. They also cover a range of topics that students do or should think about before having sex, so it’s certainly a good thing to use and discuss in the classroom. Students certainly tend to open up more when they see a similar experience too.
