Timothy –
The Growing Up Gendered – Classroom Activity Kit was a big hit in my classroom. My students learned a lot about gender stereotypes and the impacts they have on individuals. I used The Growing Up Gendered – Classroom Activity Kit to facilitate an open and judgement free conversation within my classroom, which I believe really helped my students understand different perspectives, misconceptions, and stereotypes that can be harmful and hurtful. Since this activity, my students have been much more aware of gender based stereotypes and are less likely to make assumptions about each other. Overall, great kit! Thank you!
