Description
Flip Through the PREVIEW
The issues for teens who do not identify as heterosexual and cisgender can be enormous in the high school years.
Many students, LGBT or not, are targeted for bullying by students who perceive any difference in peers as a cue to confront and harass.
Comments, actions and subtle homophobia or transphobia against students can have a lasting effect.
Diversity comes in many packages, and students need to learn how to value and even appreciate all of the differences, to make their school a safe space for youth who are, or are perceived as, LGBT.
